PyAgend
A free python-based text-only agend.

What is PyAgend?

PyAgend is a free text-only agend written in python. Free means that everyone can to modify and redistribuite how it like under the terms of the GNU GPL v.2. It is developed under a NetBSD/i386 and has been tested on several GNU/Linux systems as Gentoo with 2.4.28 release of linux kernel and on a 2.4.26 kernel. Works property on many operating systems which *BSD (where it is developed, how said) running on Python-2.x.x.

Who it is turned to?

PyAgend is looking for beginners of python which wants join to a simple development project using more easy OOP language of the world: python :-) This help who like to programming a few of software but does'nt have how many experience with its development language. You can get information about ours project and its "programming style".

News

The 1.1_BETA release of PyAgend is finishing. In its -current range are inserted how many characteristics (as '-f' flag or '-c') which are described in the ``Changes'' file of its tarball. You can know more about giving a glance on the Official project page at News section.

Others

You can found all informations about progress done, as TODO list, release changes and others stuff, in the -current tarball package. Every release have its documentation (FAQs and technical informations) and others.

You can download PyAgend in one of its several versions listened on this page, for example:

Configuration

PyAgend configuration is easy!
You only need to copy its binary file "pyagend" in on of various executable directories (eg. /bin, /usr/bin/, etc). During first execution it look for 2 file: resource file (~/.pyagendrc) and the user configuration file (~/.pyagendusrs). You can choose their paths or just type enter for leave default values. Finish!
I hope that you'll read the FAQs and README files for more info. Moreover you could read the files contains in the "info" directory which describes TODO list and some information about platforms which PyAgend has been executed property.

This section don't say nothing; only show the procedure of first execution of PyAgend (see "Configuration" section)
